( He has a response at the ready just seeing Spike in his inbox. Never has he needed or wanted Spike to even have his number, much less Buffy's or any of her friend's. Finding out how involved he was with them was a betrayal in itself and turned him around.

Learning Spike was in league with Adam and setting everyone up renewed his dislike for him, even if Spike helped get everyone who survived out.

On the one hand, they fought side by side. On the other, he screwed them over. His memories are much more fresh than Spike's he assumes.
